Stopped in for late lunch/early dinner on July 4th of all days after visiting a relative in the hospital. I am so glad we did. After the terrible experience we had at Renzo's of Boca (the more formal restaurant up the street), my hubby really wanted to try this more casual spot to give it another shot. I wasn't so optimistic. The menu is very nice here, albeit a little pricey, but it's quality food that is being prepared here. The pizza menu alone is huge but I really wanted to try the food. I opted for two "off the menu" items - fried calamari and chicken francese. Both were fresh and delicious. The chicken came with pasta or broccoli - I chose the broccoli which was fresh steamed and delicious dipped into the francese sauce. The red sauce served with the calamari was very nice, marinara sauce. Hubby had a giant plain slice of pizza which was very good and a chicken parm panini which was huge and hot and fresh and delicious. We ordered a Sicilian pie to go which I have yet to try but hubby said it was very good. They offer New York style sausage rolls, chicken rolls etc here (under stromboli), as well as a large assortment of pastas and chicken dishes and lots of sandwich options. Oh and the service was amazing with nobody rude in the house per other reviews here. Will be back for sure!

We are Delray - ians completely enchanted with Renzo s Pizzeria on Federal Highway. I am a NY'er, my husband hails from Boston...between us we have an incredibly high bar for pizza. We've found NONE BETTER than Renzo s. All ingredients seem farm-to-table fresh, the pizza is always CRISP, the restaurant is super clean and inviting. The service as great as the food. And start with a garden salad...the most attractive, fresh delicious salad mix around (yes, this includes endive!). Great reasonable wine list. Leave all of the big box/franchise pizza places behind, they don't hold a candle to Renzos.

Went last night for probably the 10th time. Decent food, what you would expect in the way of pizza/pasta/salad place. Large choice of different specialty pizzas. Pasta cooked perfectly and our pizza had lots of chicken on it. Also they have outside seating in the front and a great open room in the back. Now the few issues I have: 1. Service is usually not great. We had the best waiter we ever had this visit and he was a driver filling in as a waiter. Must not have gotten the memo about waiters having an attitude there. Not overtly rude but not pleasant either. 2. Just noticed on this visit but the table cloths were filthy. They cover them with paper but the table cloths hang down below the paper and were covered in old food. I didn't mention this to the table as I didn't want to create a commotion but it was uncomfortable for me to say the least. 3. In the age of free refills, they bring out cans of soda! Come on man! Get with the times. Everywhere else is free refills. I hate that. Otherwise a decent place where everyone can find a decent meal.

$24 for noodles and a couple pieces of burnt, shredded chicken. Called it fettuccine Alfredo with chicken - but it was literally some noodles, sauce, and some scraps of burnt up shredded chicken - for $24..... Is it in Boca? Sure. Was it ok? Yeah it was ok. But $24?!?! Are you kidding? I could have and should have made this at home for 4 people for $10.

I heard Renzo was supposed to be famous for their pizza and the business is run by Italians, who else would know their pizzeria better, am I right? The set up and welcome is really nice. They're are more seats in the back of the restaurant also. The staff and chef are extremely friendly and kind. I start out with the minestrone soup and salad with a side of sausage on top of broccoli. They are all really good and well flavored. Then comes the Sicilian pizza. No good. The appearance looks amazing but the flavor and bread are lacking. I was really expecting an authentic Italian homemade pizza pie here not something I can get at Stevi B's/Pizza Hut. Sorry Renzo. Better luck next time! : \

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; this is the tale of Renzo's. The food quality at Renzo's is most definitely hit or miss. Our go-to meal at this restaurant is the eggplant and Grandma's pizza. Sometimes it's really great, and sometimes it's really not. Each time we go, we hope... but that's getting a bit old. In an attempt to broaden our horizons, Mitch ordered the lasagna and it was served all smushed up in a silver baking tray... I ordered veal cutlet that was more breading than meat. Looking beyond the food, the owner walks around with a scowl on his face, the wait staff turns over on a monthly basis (if they stay that long), and if you eat outside, there are the tiniest bugs crawling on the wall. With so many other great Italian alternatives in Boca, I'd say pass on this one!

Rice balls the size of softballs. Pizza for Florida really good. I always have to preface that because I'm from NY and I'm very picky when it comes to my pies. they're salads are excellent too. Only been here for lunch so next time I'm coming for dinner. Service very nice, you can sit outside or inside.

If I could give this restaurant no stars I would but it doesn't let you do that. My family has been coming here since the day it opened and has been going to the Renzo's fine dining as well... over the past few years it has gone downhill and a year ago we had an incident at the restaurant that made us to decide not to return until today when we decided to order delivery.. WHAT A MISTAKE !!!! We ordered a large pizza, garlic rolls, and the chefs salad...when we get the pizza box it is soaking wet and the pizza is cold! (He took the pizza box out of the pizza delivery case while he was in the rain, when we have an overhang clear from the rain) then we open the salad and they gave us the wrong dressing. My mom calls back nicely and asks them to send the correct one and they say ok. We wait 20 minutes and still no dressing the pizza is even colder!!!! My mom called back and a different man answered and said where is the dressing?! They said the delivery guy did not even leave yet! After that she was hung up on 2 times by an older man (we think he is the owner) and she called back again and another guy tried to diffuse the situation by sending us a new pie but we did not want one... After that our trust for receiving any sort of good food went out the window. Bottom line the people are very rude who work here/own this restaurant... They need a course in business etiquette!!

Renzo's Cafe (not to be confused with the more upscale Italian Renzo's that they own across the street - also delicious) is one of favorite local places for pizza. There are just a handful of tables when you first walk in, but if it is crowded they also have a large covered patio out back. The pizza is delicious, the crust is perfect. My son loves the meatballs. The only drawback is the service can be on the slow side. Don't know if they still do this but one night they had a strolling accordian player which was fun and made us feel like we were in an old time Italian restaurant but it was a little loud for such a small space.

My husband and I absolutely love their pizza and of course their other dishes. We just had a large cheese with mushroom and onion delivered last night! I am meeting a friend for lunch today at the Boca location! I am so glad that I live so close to Renzo's so that we can continue to have their delicious pizza anytime we crave it! The crust is so light but there is a crispness at the same time and they do not skimp on the cheese or toppings! They use a brick oven!

Had a really good lunch here with my husband the other day! The menu is HUGE, the service friendly and attentive, and very Italian! I love walking into an Italian restaurant, and the employees are speaking Italian. The inside seating area is fairly small, but the outdoor area is huge both in the front of the building and the back area. It looks like a great place for a large group, or for outside dinner dining when the weather isn't blazing hot. The pizza is among the best around. It is seriously tasty if you love thin-crust NY style. This place has it. The calzone is really good, and I love their marinara sauce! Oh, almost forgot the garlic rolls -- honestly people, they've got the BEST garlic rolls I've had...ever! The ONLY thing would make this place better is if they offered lunch specials other than just the pizza for $2.50 slice. I'll be back, and now that I've written this, my mouth is watering for more!

Horrible!! Ordered lunch to be delivered for the office. It took over 2 hours before we received our food. We called three times, and was told each time that the food was on the way, that they were very busy. Their attitude was one of no care. The food did not make up for the late delivery either. The pizza dough tasted like what cardboard would if you tried to eat it. The vegetable panini sandwich's bread was so soggy it was inedible. Usually you would think, oh at least there is still desert. The usually delicious italian desert, Tiramisu tasted like it was made with sour cream. Stay away from this place.

My parents and I ended up eating here out of convenience the other night. We were hungry and it wasn't too far from my grandmother's nursing home- sold! Apparently Renzo's also has another restaurant that's a nicer version, but this lowkey spot was perfect for me as I had just got off the plane a few hours before. I found our waitress to be a bit on the rude side, but my parents didn't seem to notice...and then I realized she just had a bit of that NY 'tude you see pretty often in Boca. As for the food... With the attempt to eat healthy before stuffing our faces for the Jewish holidays my mom and i split the caprese salad (very good, especially after drenched with balsamic) and the salmon (a bit plain tasting, but good). However, we threw healthy out the window when my stepdad ordered a large sausage pizza. I helped myself to a slice and a half of this delicious NY style pizza and have to admit it was MUCH better than the salmon. Apparently there was also a bday party for 70 people in the back- although i couldn't quite figure out where in this tiny restaurant...

it happened, renzo's lost it. in nyc i lived across the street from the famous john's brick oven pizza and i was so happy to find a very close tasting pie when i moved down here at renzo's. even friends visiting from ny would want their pizza. the last few times we've had it i noticed it slipping. last night was the worst. i love thin crust but this was thin and tough. we could barely chew through it and the oil covering the pie was over the top. most of all there was absolutely no taste. just salty, oily and tough... too bad. they used to be so good.

Great Authentic Italian food but, still doesn't beat my Italian mother's cooking. I was disappointed in the Calamari; dry, no flavor, and a little rubbery. Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Stopped in for late lunch/early dinner on July 4th of all days after visiting a relative in the hospital. I am so glad we did. ummmmmmmm buffalo chicken pizza that's all you have to say there #amazeballs ps-make sure you go to the right one, there's one across the street that could be mistaken for the geriatric ward's lunchroom

I'm a pizza snob, this place is my jam! Their pepperoni is delish along with other pizzas. Not a giant fan of sandwiches but when I want pizza this is the only place I will go.
